This has been a very busy year for me carrying out consultations in various homes and businesses and constantly receiving amazing feedback from my clients. Some of the businesses have reported to be doing so well that they are actually expanding to larger premises – even during a recession!! That’s fantastic news and I am so pleased for them. I am always very happy to report that more and more people are using Feng Shui as a tool to improve their lives.

It has also become clearly evident in my experience that some people who benefit from a Feng Shui consultation keep this information very close to their chest. They are so amazed by the difference it can make to their lives that they don’t seem to want other people to know how they have achieved their success. For some, the perception is that you have to be born lucky and it’s as simple as that.

You don’t have to be born lucky to encourage wealth, health and happiness into your lives. The main difference between the Western and Eastern concept of the word ‘luck’ is that in the West ‘luck’ is regarded as something that happens randomly by change without any explanation. In the East there are 3 kinds of ‘luck’ based on the centuries old Chinese philosophy ‘Tien Ti Ren’. To briefly put it these relate to Heaven Luck, Earth Luck and Mankind Luck.

Heaven luck is what we in the West refer to as being born lucky because it is your fate at birth based on the stars/constellations. Earth Luck is the luck that comes from the environment based on the elements and energies in our surroundings. Mankind Luck is the luck that we create for ourselves.

Essentially we can’t change our fate at birth, but we can improve and control our Earth Luck in the form of Feng Shui by balancing and harmonizing the energies of the property and Mankind luck can be enhanced by working towards your goals and achievements. Therefore, we do have the ability to improve two thirds of our luck and it is not solely related to you being born lucky.
